Tico Special ~ eggs scrambled or lightly fried, "soft" or "hard", fried plantains, gallo pinto (rice and beans with Tico flavorings), sour cream on the side and corn tortillas.  Add your own Salsa Lizano or Tabasco.

Gringo Special ~ eggs scrambled or lightly fried, "soft" or "hard", bacon or ham, homemade buttered wheat toast and guava jelly.

Huevos Rancheros ~ 2 corn tortillas layered with black beans, 2 eggs, our homemade "ranchero" sauce and covered with grated cheddar cheese.

Huevos rancheros ~ tortillas con frijoles negros molidos, huevos y nuestra salsa "ranchera". Cubiertos con queso chedar rayado.

Omelettes ~ create your own - choices of ham, cheddar cheese, bacon, mushrooms, sweet peppers or onions.  Served with our homemade buttered whole-wheat toast and guava jelly.

Central American Corn Cakes ~ rich small cakes full of corn, sweet peppers and onions.  Served with a light yogurt- chili sauce, scrambled eggs and homemade fresh tomato salsa, pico de gallo.

Panqueques centroamericanos de maíz ~ un rico panqueque con maíz, chile dulce y cebollas. Servido con una salsa de yogurt-chile, huevos revueltos y salsa fresca.

Our food source is 400 Kms. away.  Mindful of our conservation ethic, including energy and food resources, please give the breakfast wait staff your main course selection for the evening's meal.
