Puerto Jiménez

Lapa RiosA forgotten village, newly discovered by adventure tourism and conservationists, Puerto Jimenez is the entrance to the northern side of Corcovado National Park. The area dominating the high ground and the wild beaches of Cabo Matapalo, offers adventurous experiences with Scarlet Macaws, Ocelots and rare Eagles. The park is dotted with majestic waterfalls, cascading to long secluded beaches and rivers with canyon walls, home to the Morpheus Butterfly, Spider Monkey and crocodiles.

It is impossible to describe in words the natural beauty and mystical experience of being here. A majestic zone of biodiversity.
