Turtle Nesting Patrol
In partnership with Amazon Conservation, Lapa Rios runs a sea turtle conservation program focused on protecting nesting activity along the Osa Peninsula.
Working alongside local biologists, the program helps safeguard nests that may be at risk from erosion, poaching, and other threats along the coastline.
When necessary, vulnerable nests are carefully managed and incubated as part of the wider effort to support the survival of sea turtles nesting in this remarkable part of Costa Rica.
