THE BREAKS

The Osa coastline does not show up in the magazines. Not because the surf is not there but because getting to it requires knowing where to look and when to go.

What you will find are right-hand point breaks with long, clean walls that open up on a good swell and keep going. Rippable from top to bottom, with the occasional barrel section and runs that stretch past 400 meters on the right day. The kind of waves that feel generous. The kind you are still thinking about at dinner. The crowds that have defined surfing everywhere else have not found this place yet. In 2026, that is increasingly rare and entirely worth traveling for.

THE GUIDE

The rooms sit above the Pacific inside a private nature reserve. The views from your deck at dawn are the kind you did not expect and cannot stop looking at. The food is serious.
