LAPA RIOS
You’ll give your vacation an adrenaline boost when you leave your comfort zone and enter the world of Costa Rica’s magnificent waterfalls. This thrilling adventure starts as you walk along a rainforest ridge near Remanso Lodge, just a few minutes from Lapa Rios. In total, participants will experience the pure excitement of rappelling down four to five rainforest waterfalls as they descend to the sandy beach below the lodge. The first waterfall is the smallest, where participants are instructed on the best rappelling techniques and safety requirements. Two expert guides ensure each rappeler is always correctly secured and supported. The falls grow in size and intensity as participants’ technique and ability improve. The last waterfall is the biggest and most challenging, sure to get rappelers hooked on the sport. A genuinely unforgettable wilderness adventure!
